Libuša Jaďuďová
In the document collection of the Museum of Folk Art Production (MĽUV) we can find among the research reports concerning wooden products a report entitled “The production of moulds for cheese (oštiepky)”. It was written in 1975 by Zuzana Pekarovičová and gives information on the production, shapes and decorative ornamentation of moulds for oštiepky cheese and the required work tools. Alongside studying specialist literature and tangible artefacts in the depositories of Slovak museums, she includes in the report the results of her own field research around Banská Bystrica (Selce, Baláže, Priechod), Zvolen (Zvolenská Slatina) and Dolný Kubín (Zázrivá, Veličná).
