Part of the essential range of products available in the Centre of Folk Art Production’s (ÚĽUV) shops include textiles intended to be used in the interior as decorative or elegant practical items. They include both home textile associated with sleeping, dining, covering the floor and other textiles of a farming and personal nature in the rural environment, as well as home textiles from the urban environment. They are related to the period of the second half of the 19th century, and primarily the first half of the 20th century. ÚĽUV staff were inspired by the wide range of textiles originating from the urban environment, and also by the huge number of patterns and production techniques in the traditional environment.
