A course at the School of Crafts of ÚĽUV in Bratislava is focused on creating wire jewellery and is composed of three parts. The first two are for beginners, while the third part is an extra course intended for graduates of the first two parts. In 2005, this final part of the course took place for the first time. It was lead by a young jewellery maker Hana Kašičková, a graduate of the University of Fine Arts in Bratislava. The aim of the course was to create products according to the participants’ designs, who were working on selected topics – a bracelet as a dance, a city as a pendant, and earrings as circus. The displayed jewels are the results of the creative work of the course graduates.
