Talente is an exhibition for the young applied art artists and designers up to 30 years of age. The exhibition is held annually, at the beginning of March, during the Arts and crafts fair in Munich, together with popular event Schmuck, the largest jewellery art event. The organisers of Talente collaborated with the world arts-and-crafts institutions, academies and universities which recommend the best young national artists for the exhibition from 1979. 99 artists from 24 countries registered for the exhibition. The artists mostly selected the topic which referred to the traditional techniques referring to the location in which they live. Peter Ďuriš with the set of glass vases represented Slovakia at the exhibition.

Like last year, the majority of competitors registered in the jewellery category. The generation of young Slovak jewellery makers attended international exhibition Dormitory_Bauleitung_Laboratorio (Sylvia Jokelová, Hany H. Kašičková, Bety K. Majerníková, Mária Nepšinská) and compared their work with other European projects. Original project of the students at the AFAD in Bratislava Die Slowakishe Schmuckmannschaft was organised at the same time. Project´s author Pavol Prekop initiated an interactive installation. Many countries, projects and individual artists presented their work at 30+ exhibitions organised around the city.
