The exhibition Masters of Musical Instruments presents to the public Slovakia’s folk music culture, its past and present, using iconographic material, collection items, instruments made by contemporary producers and film extracts on various types of production of musical instruments. The exhibition is thematically divided into four sections which group the musical instruments according to their sounds. The collection items from the Slovak National Museum – Museum of Music and the Museum of Folk Art Production are accompanied by products made by contemporary makers, most of whom cooperate with the Centre for Folk Art Production.
