Since 1994, ÚĽUV has been a member of the European Craft Organisation (ECO), founded in 1972 as the European Federation of Folk Art and Crafts. The organisation’s mission and activities are based on cooperation between European countries with a strong tradition of folk art. The purpose of the organisation is to preserve and develop crafts in traditional and modern ways and to support the exchange of experience. Sharing professional knowledge, opportunities for making contacts and a platform for cooperating on global problems are the key benefits resulting from ÚĽUV’s membership.
