Mária Nepšinská
Marek Brincko (1981) is a member of the youngest generation of Slovak glass artists. Brincko studied glass at the Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Bratislava between 2000 and 2006. He also took private lessons in the studio of well-known glass artist Štepán Pala in Bratislava (2005 – 2006). He has displayed his works at joint exhibitions in Bratislava, Munich, Strasbourg and Prague. Now, Brincko makes glass plastic art. He learns from what is around him and what he sees from a window when making small and monumental objects. He interprets window as a border he uses in his creative endeavours. By working with light, Marek Brincko adds forth dimension to his artworks.
