New acquisitions in the Museum of Folk Art Production

The Museum of Folk Art Production (MĽUV) is a nationwide specialised museum focusing on the museum documentation of the artistic expression of the folk, folk art, crafts and home-made production. It maps out the transformations and forms of folk art production from 1945 to the present day, also documenting the influence of the Centre for Folk Art Production on folk art work. One of its main roles is collection. The museum systematically adds to its collections; from 2018 to 2020 it acquired over 2600 items for the museum’s collection.
