Between two strips of linen canvas, there is a hand-embroidered insert. The embroidery is done with unbleached silk and linen thread on linen fabric. The embroidery on the apron along the inserted piece is sewn with unbleached linen threads and cotton yarn. In addition to the curves, there are embroidered pea and satin stitch lines. Above the lines, there are “scrolls” embroidered with chain stitch. The fringe in the sash is reinforced with embroidery and sewn into a narrow casing. The apron is trimmed with bobbin lace from the Old Mountains.
