The apron is made from two halves of blue print fabric, which are sewn together with a seam stitch. The stitch is sewn with woolen thread. The top part of the apron is pleated, and a pre-drawn embroidery is placed on the pleats, which is sewn with both woolen and cotton thread. The embroidery is done with full and stem stitch, with individual sections of the embroidery divided by tailor’s chain stitches. The apron is sewn into a cardboard cover. The apron has a ruffle sewn to the lower edge, to which lace was originally also sewn.
