The trousers are made of home-made canvas, with a lace embroidery on the bottom edge. They are sewn with hemp thread. Below the lace, the trousers are lined with coarse canvas. Both layers have frayed ends. The top part of the trousers has a sewn fold for threading a string or tie to tighten the waist.
