The new publication Carved Animals by the master of folk art production Jana Majerska is intended for craft enthusiasts with limited experience in woodcarving. The reader will be guided through all the important basic steps, such as selecting materials, understanding their properties, assembling different types of tools, and finishing with decoration or surface treatment. With the author, you will have the opportunity to create two types of carved animals – dimensional and flat ones adorned with patterns inspired by the Kyjatice motif.
