His hair is braided into four braids, called “kečki.” The woman is dressed in a chemise, embroidered bodice, indigo-dyed skirt, and an apron (dress). Beneath her waist, she has a white triangular scarf crossed over her chest, folded under her armpits, and tied at the back. Both are wearing sandals on their feet. The doll’s bodies are made of felt, filled with cotton waste, and reinforced with wire. The costumes are sewn from various textile materials.
