The silk taffeta bodice is lined with factory canvas. It features an embroidered tulip motif on the back, stitched with chain stitch and blanket stitch. Also embroidered are buttonholes, purely decorative, not cut. Attached metal buttons have glass eyes. Both front pieces are edged with white eyelet embroidery sewn by hand.
