About product

The apron, likely meant for a girl, is sewn from a single layer of fine cotton fabric. A lace trim adorns the bottom edge of the apron, above which a lace appliqué is attached. In addition to the sewn lace, rows of pea motifs are embroidered on the apron. The waist of the apron is slightly gathered and inserted into a casing, to which a lace ruffle is also attached. The lace trim is made from yellow and white cotton thread. Floral ribbons are attached to the casing. The apron could have been created by quilting a woman’s apron, which usually consisted of two halves.
