Headband made of bobbin lace is a thick, multi-ply lace hand-knitted from a coarser cotton yarn. One end is finished with textile teeth in white and red colors. Headbands made of straight lace strips were produced in the region of Liptov in the 19th century, while curved lace bobbin work became popular in the 20th century, especially in the first half.
