The scarf has a rich eyelet embroidery in one corner. The eyelets are also embroidered on two adjacent sides. The decoration also includes sewn buttonholes. The embroidery was sewn through a lining, which was probably made of batiste. A thin cotton lace was probably also sewn onto the scarf.
