The ends of the long scarf are sewn from pieces of cotton Etamine and crocheted lace. Etamine has edges finished with a lace trim. Multiple-row black-and-white lace and wide striped lace are sewn to the actual ends. The lace is made from unbleached threads, probably linen and silk.
