The skirt is made of four panels of indigo-dyed cloth pressed onto homemade canvas. The front panels are made of hemp canvas, with the bottom part also in indigo-dyed cloth. The lower edge is stitched with a strip of canvas. The skirt is pleated along its entire length, with a waistband sewn into an envelope from indigo-dyed cloth.
