The skirt is made of 6 panels of homemade canvas. At the bottom edge, it has a woven brocade pattern, 2 sewn fastenings, and a sewn-on lace. Apart from the front panel, the waistband is gathered and stitched into a casing. The casing has a factory fabric sewn on it. Braids of white cotton are sewn onto the casing. Over the gathering, reinforcing stitches are sewn with black pearl thread.
