The sleeves are made of factory canvas. They have an embroidered pre-drawn floral ornament on them. The composition is interrupted by bands of pea stitching and smoothing. The pre-drawn embroidery is sewn with a full flat stitch. The embroidery is sewn with silk thread. Bobbin lace is sewn at the ends of the sleeves. The very ends of the sleeves are hemmed. The sleeves are gathered, and a strip of canvas, also embroidered, is sewn over the gathering.
