The sleeves are made of home-grown linen weave, the body part (tent) is made of a mixed linen-cotton canvas. The sleeves have a pre-drawn embroidery done with a thicker cotton thread. An economical full stitch is used. A crocheted circle is sewn onto the collar embroidered with crosses. In the center of the circle, a narrow white ribbon is looped through the holes. The ends of the sleeves are pleated and a fabric tape is sewn over the pleats. The actual sleeve ends are finished with a looped stitch.
