Sleeves are sewn from homemade canvas. They have ripstop fabric inset along the length of the sleeve with an embroidered pattern. The fabric is trimmed on both sides with cutwork embroidery done with a curved needle. The narrow collar is also made from handwoven fabric. The sleeve ends are gathered above the edge, and gypsy fabric is sewn over the gathering.
