They are made of homegrown hemp canvas. The top part of the sleeves is embroidered according to the thread count, also pre-marked. Stitches used: full flat stitch, seed stitch, cutout stitch. The sleeves are attached to the back piece with a connecting seam. They are finished with ruching, which is secured by embroidery. There is an embroidered design according to the thread count on the collar. Originally, a lace circle was sewn to the collar. The sleeve cuffs were hand-gathered.
