The waistcoat is made from silk damask. It is trimmed with solid color ribbons with woven jacquard pattern. The ribbons on the back are decoratively pleated. Edges of the waistcoat are decorated with teeth cut out of fabric. The waistcoat is lined with hemp canvas.
