The shirt is made of three kinds of canvas. The lower part of the front and back pieces is made of thicker linen canvas, the upper part is made of thinner canvas, and the sleeves are made of factory canvas. A single row of wave pattern is embroidered on the narrow collar. There are attached decorative bands to the collar, two broad braid trims sewn with connecting stitches and finished with embroidered edging bordered by fabric teeth. The sleeve ends are gathered and sewn into a cuff made of pleated fabric. A strip of fabric is attached at the top of the cuff, and the bottom is crocheted.
