About product
The apron was likely created by sewing and stitching lace and embroidery from an older apron onto newer canvas. Two parts of the apron are connected in the middle with bobbin lace made from thinner hemp and thicker cotton thread. Both parts are horizontally divided with stitched lace and embroidered peas. The lower band of peas is sewn on top. The peas are sewn with unbleached hemp thread and white, likely cotton thread. The apron is bordered at the bottom with a multi-pair lace. A narrower lace is sewn on the sides. The upper part of the apron is gathered and sewn into a casing, with the front part made of factory fabric. There are no ties on the apron.
