Sleeves are sewn from cotton factory canvas. The sleeves are decorated with rich cutwork embroidery, made with a curved needle. The embroidery is stitched with cotton thread. It is complemented by a full embroidery, sewn with thicker cream and white artificial silk thread. The sleeve ends are edged with madeira, above which a tunnel is sewn, through which a drawstring is threaded to cinch the sleeves above the elbow. The upper part of the sleeves is gathered and sewn into a narrow collar made from home fabric with blue details.
